Is this a inspection company or like a referral service?

I don't have any personal experience with them, I just know John Shishilla isn't their biggest fan

Imagine a Company out there such as Inspection Depot, except they took good care of their Inspectors, financially, as a priority. Could it exist ?

no. you couldn't get referrals from the insurance companies so the volume wouldn't be there. evidently, there is some familial relationship at the state level too, or so I have heard. the whole insurance inspection/adjusting process is a rigged mess. it's what happens when you turn a profession into a commodity. ran across my 3rd RE brokerage who has their own, in house, home inspector/team yesterday. even have the RE brokerage logo on the truck with "Home Inspections" proudly displayed above it. it appears they are charging a minimal fee or maybe even giving the HI away.

won't be long and we will have to offer trucks, tools, licenses and our souls to work for the broker as a low cost employee - that is the trend in FL. Thank you INachi/ASHI for creating 12,000 HI's in the state of FL. Any real HI who belongs to these groups deserve what you are getting - sheep led to slaughter by a circus ring leader. I thought the multi-inspector firms who sold their souls to the listing broker offering $200, bill to closing, inspections was bad enough but it looks like they are about to be trumped at their own stupid game. the broker is about to cut them out because they are too expensive at $200 and they might actually write something up. FL has become a big joke and I'm sure it's coming to a town near you.

if this industry doesn't get a real organization, free of the profit motive, very soon, I firmly believe it is over as a profession. you'll be nothing more than a carpet cleaner advertising any room for $9.95.

I think he does, Inspectors are obviously the priority but he posted a great RE Agent vid promoting it.

A roof inspection is one of those preventative maintenance jobs that’s easy to overlook.

Some products are only for the benefit of home inspectors. The agents can get them for free- just use the right home inspector. I'm also very loyal. Agents can't buy RecallChek, 90 Day Warranties, or any of our other home inspector products. Any product that does sell directly to agents should be avoided. Things like HON, HomeBinder, etc. Why would anyone go out and promote these products, pay to use them, and be a free salesforce at the same time? Takes a special kind of fool to do business with them.
