What is The benefits of Infrared Thermal Imaging?

Do you also find this to be useful for determining why a ceiling is stained? I was told once that it was a good way to determine if a link was still active, but haven't had any personal experience with this myself.

We offer thermal imaging and also think its fantastic. I always want to offer the best inspection posssible with the latest technology. I think its also important though that they buyer/seller understand the limitations with infrared and not have unrealistic expectations.

Thermal imaging a great tool for home inspectors. My question is do you offer this free of charge with any home inspection or is this an additional charge?
