Hello,

Recently my grandparents shuffled off their mortal coils, and left their home to my parents. I recently had cause to poke my head into the attic crawlspace and. . . The roof looks like it was put in by a medival torturer who was 'pinin for the Fjords, as it were. Nails. Nails everywhere. Most protruding 3" or so into the crawlspace. This makes me twitch a bit. If I ever had to go up there, I'd constantly be worried about exsanguinating myself. And as the Red Cross already have claim on my Red Humor, and my cats claim anything left over, I feel a need to do some snipping. My Question: What tool is best? Is there a battery powered dremel with a magnet on it for something like that?

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

The roofing manufacturers recommend that the nails penetrate at LEAST 3/4" into sheathing. If the sheathing is less than 3/4" they will penetrate through the roof

That being said. a hard hat may be a better solution than snipping nails.
