Hello gentlemen!
Quick question I should know the answer to, but I'm having a brain fart and can't think of it. What is the clearance for a plumbing vent to a window (horizontally)? i took a measurement of 22 inches. I'm thinking it is 10 feet.
Thanks.

You are right. 10 feet horizontal. Or 4-feet below or 3 feet above.

That one is wrong for sure.

Another vent clearance question: What's the rule on water heater power vent exhaust? I have 26 inches from vent to window corner. The vent is also pointed the opposite direction next to the side of the house. Thanks!

Chad:

No photo, but if direct vent usually 12 inches. If a power vent, could be different. Do you have make and model number? I know State Water Heater requires 48 inches to side or under a window, one foot above.

Thanks.
