Two great products, both very different. For those that have experienced either, chime in... I'll give you my take as well.

I know you cant uses these everywhere but for 700.00 you can get a DJI drone. I still have a problem paying 600 bucks for a painters pole. Maybe someone can work me through why these are better than a 50 dollar painter poll with a 6 in tripod installed on the top

Eye-Stick was developed particularly for Home Inspectors by a Home Inspector . Painters poles can work, but at the least you need to impress your clients with tools they don't have themselves in their garage .When clients see the Eye-Stick or Polester , they are immediately impressed . They've just hired a Profesional Home Inspector, charging Professional Fees and uses Professional grade tools.

That's way too nice. Of course inspectors need tools like this...why yours over the Polester?

Only if you drive it to an inspection.

I wouldn't rely on a pole for taking photos to "impress my clients". Sounds great, but really that's just a marketing statement.
I can get the job done with a 24' painters pole and a camera that sends the images back to my mobile device. Its very stable and takes great photos.
total cost....Less than $200.00

I've never personally had the need to use a camera on a pole. I've been able to access areas I've needed to access in other ways. Especially for the cost I've seen in this thread. I can think of other tools I'd rather have for that price. But I'm just one guy.

I purchased the eye stick probably 8 years ago when I was worried about using a drone. The eye stick works very well however after owning a drone I have no need for it. On a lot of new homes I find that they are so tall that the eye stick is "just" tall enough. The drone is defiantly easier to manage in my opinion. As a wett nspector I find when looking at tall chimneys a drone is a must have!
