Some do not like the looseness of the Xtend & Climb; I have no issues with it. It's sturdy enough for me.

They have a different feel than other ladders...especially fully extended. I've never felt "unsafe" though.

The plastic thumb locks and paper green stickers look cheap, but the actual internal locks sound metallic when they latch in-place. I've had mine for most of this calendar year - so far, so good.
To Pete's condo concern: The 16'-er is conveniently carried under one's arm; tho' the weight is a chore for my frail and weak frame too carry for very many stair steps.

I just like the extended base on the LG. The EnClimb is convenient to carry up stairs though.
