It's kind of interesting to see the couple post on this thread. The answers kind of tell everyone's age and even a little bit of personality type. Yes this can be considered stereotyping.

I want to expand this topic slightly because responses may come from the all time favorite(s). It's sometimes hard to talk about favorite(s) because there are many genres and even sub-genres of music.

Would anyone like to list their top 5 or maybe 10 musicians/groups that cover different genres. I think seeing more diverse answers would be fun. I'll throw out my top 10 from different genres in no particular order.

1) Nine Inch Nails
2) Phutureprimitve
3) Darius Rucker (Country) formerly from Hootie & The Blowfish - only because I met the man and got to talk with him for a little bit.
4) The Grateful Dead
5) The Crystal Method - Many of you may have heard their music, but don't realize it
6) Squarepusher
7) Deadmau5
8 ) Tool
9) Pink Floyd
10) Chopin

That list was in no particular order. Although NIN is my all time favorite. Tool isn't far behind. Once again, the list is suppose to touch on other (sub)genres.

Kind of bitter sweet listening to it though, knowing what Malcolm Young is going through

And more, I just can't think of them at the moment.
