What is everyone doing when you get the email notification from RecallChek and it has a potential recall on it? Are you sending out a follow up email to the client letting them know, or just letting the generated email and report stand on its own? Was just curious if I should populate an ISN template for it.

I believe most let it stand on its own. It has a number on it as well and we field calls all day long.

Eric and I try to make contact in case it was overlooked by the agent or client.

I am not doing anything. They know a RC report is coming and should look for it.

Unfortunately, many clients totally ignore important emails.

I don't want them to miss out on a safety repair or rebate. At the same time, I don't want to have my staff lose valuable time trying to help someone find an email that they likely deleted on purpose or went to their spam/junk.

I can hear it now: Can you re-send it? So you do it. They still don't open it. Did you re-send it yet, I don't have it. On and on...

We track email events in the system the same way ISN does. You're covered.

I generally don't do anything. However, if the buyer's agent is new to using us, I will call them to let them know about the recall and give them the opportunity to call their client and verify that they received the notification and understands how to contact the manufacture to get the repair. I feel that calling them and letting them be a part of that really solidifies that real world value of the services that we offer.
