Aerial Quad Copter Inspections

Great choice, My inspector just got his last week. We are still running the phantom 2 vision plus v3.

Here we could get 3 to 4 hundred for a well done video. This gives us an in with agents that primarily do listings

The Quad copter has become the most important tool in my truck. Used properly it provides my clients a valuable service that no other tool can do NOT EVEN A LADDER.

The best part is the FAA is hard at work getting the rules in place and if the latest read of the rules is passed we Inspectors will be very happy.

problem with the Lily is you have to program its flight path - no controller which also means no hover while you pan, tilt or zoom. great and cheap for playtime though

Phantom 3 Vision is on the prowl

The camera is really improved on the Phantom 3 vision professional. 12mp still photos with no more fish eye and 4k quality video.

I use the Phantom 2 and Eric has the Phantom 3! It's probably the best part of the inspection and I believe that is one of the things that makes a new agent a loyal to us! Because they know that we put the extra effort to make sure that the inspection is totally though!

Had a close call today while flying the Phantom 3. She wasn't responding to controls and just wasn't flying quite right, noticed this right after take off. I was about 5-feet off the ground and decided to take her back down and, well the landing wasn't pretty.

Did a diagnostic check of the sensors. The IMU needed calibration. Performed calibration of the IMU and the compass and we were back up flying again.

Well the FAA released the new proposed part 107 rule. Since I do not have a non-student part 61 pilot certificate I won't qualify to complete the small UAS online training course provided by the FAA and will instead need to pass an initial aeronautical knowledge test at an FAA-approved knowledge testing center. Well, alright then.

So far so good here in Ohio no one has said anything to me using a new Dji phantom 4 all tube new updated features help a hack like me not wreck it and it's stabilization features turn out amazingly good photos. Good luck to everyone
