How about making someone's first post hang in limbo until approved by your moderator?

That can weed out most of the link droppers and nonsensical BS that clutters this board.

We have assigned Brandon to log in here daily and clean up. It's a balance between accessibility and moderation, we err toward the prior. I will see what we can do about first posts and if that is possible.
